These terms cover your use of the Sigla app and the sigla.so website. Buying or using Sigla means you agree to them.

1. Who you’re dealing with
Sigla is made by Toni Väisänen, a sole trader based in Finland. Your purchase is sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record; Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction itself.
2. Your license
When you buy Sigla, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on the Macs you personally own. You may not:
- resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your license key;
- remove or alter copyright or license notices;
- attempt to circumvent the licensing.
You may reverse-engineer the app only to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.
3. Updates and maintenance
Your purchase includes one (1) year of updates from the date of purchase. After that year the version you have keeps working, fully featured, indefinitely — you simply stop receiving new versions unless you renew. Renewal is optional and extends your update window; the renewal price is shown at purchase.
4. Free trial
Sigla offers a time-limited free trial so you can evaluate it before buying. When the trial ends the app requires a license to continue; any documents and annotations you created remain yours and stay on your Mac.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. Refunds are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
6. The website
The sigla.so website and its content are provided for information. Please don’t misuse it — no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access.
7. Disclaimer
Sigla is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Sigla is a reader: you remain responsible for keeping your own backups of your documents and annotations.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Sigla is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
9. Changes
We may update the app and these terms over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms; we’ll update the date above.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
