02 — About Sigla
Boilerplate paragraph.
Lift this verbatim.
Sigla is a markdown reader for the Mac. Where most markdown apps are editors with a preview pane bolted on, Sigla is the reverse — a reader-first app for the long technical documents (RFCs, design docs, postmortems, LLM-generated specs) engineering teams pass around. It renders Mermaid, PlantUML, Vega-Lite, KaTeX math, and code natively. It lets the reader annotate the page without touching the source. And it exports document plus annotations as a structured prompt — your questions paired with the source they're attached to, ready for whichever LLM you prefer. Sigla is a native AppKit application for macOS 14 and later.

06 — Founder
Who's behind Sigla.
Sigla is built by Toni Väisänen, an independent developer in Finland — the reader Sigla was made for, someone who spends more time reading technical documents than writing them and wanted a tool for that side of the work. Sigla is part of slantedt, a small portfolio of native Mac apps.
Available for interview, podcast, demo, or product review. Reach out via press@sigla.so.
